[Hiring] SAP P2S Aftermarket MRO Transformation Manager @RTX

Role Description

As part of the Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) Plan to Sustain team, the Senior ERP Manager will lead complex ERP transformation projects aligned with RTX's business strategies, with a focus on leveraging SAP S/4HANA technology to enhance Aftermarket processes. This role will oversee the end-to-end transformation lifecycle, including planning, execution, and optimization of MRO systems and tools.

• Project Execution and Oversight: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverable milestones for Aftermarket process development and SAP S/4HANA ERP integration. Ensure adherence to project schedules and budget constraints while managing competing priorities.
• MRO System Transformation: Partner in the execution of Aftermarket MRO system transformation initiatives, driving alignment between technology capabilities, operational requirements, and business objectives.
• SAP S/4HANA: Utilize knowledge of SAP S/4HANA to design and implement robust solutions that optimize workflows, streamline MRO operations, and enhance business performance.
• Process Mapping and Optimization: Support the development, deployment, and adoption of MRO tools and systems, ensuring they meet functional requirements and deliver measurable value. Support teams in understanding the tools and their effective application.
• Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to MRO tool execution and SAP ERP implementations. Resolve issues in a timely manner to prevent project delays or disruptions.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives to drive successful adoption of new processes and systems within Aftermarket teams. Develop and deliver training materials to empower end-users and ensure a smooth transition.
• Vendor and Compliance Management: Manage relationships with SAP S/4HANA vendors and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with RTX’s regulatory, security, and data standards.
• Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of SAP S/4HANA initiatives. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven insights.
• Stakeholder Communication and Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure strategic alignment and effective collaboration. Communicate project status, benefits, risks, and strategic implications to VPs and senior leadership. Ability to travel approximately 30% throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large-scale ERP transformation projects with a focus on SAP implementation and integration.
• Experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) systems, including execution, tool optimization, and alignment with industry best practices.
• Experience in project and task management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
