Role Description

SMF Companies is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Remodel Program Manager to coordinate and support high-volume remodel and renovation projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excels at scheduling, material coordination, and project tracking. Extensive construction experience is not required.

• Coordinate and manage schedules across a high volume of remodel and renovation projects.
• Organize project timelines, track milestones, and ensure work stays on schedule.
• Place and track material orders, coordinate deliveries, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain accurate project trackers, schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and other project management tools to monitor project progress and deadlines.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, material delays, and potential project issues, proactively communicating solutions.
• Coordinate work across multiple locations while managing changing priorities.
• Provide regular project updates and status reports to internal teams and leadership.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and outstanding items.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reporting, and project tracking.
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
• Experience in project coordination, operations, logistics, scheduling, or a related field.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Experience in commercial construction, retail remodels, restaurant renovations, or multi-location rollout programs.
• Familiarity with construction terminology, material procurement, and delivery scheduling.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field operations.
• Previous experience supporting high-volume project programs.
