Role Description

The RDM Release Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing multi-phase network implementations, engineering support, and service delivery efforts. This role acts as a central point of accountability across programs, ensuring timely, quality-driven execution of network infrastructure projects while adhering to enterprise change management and release processes.

You will work closely with engineers, program and project managers, service providers, and various stakeholders to manage dependencies, track progress, escalate issues, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional network infrastructure delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, and escalations.
• Own the release management lifecycle—planning, coordination, and deployment of changes/releases across multiple teams and services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into coordinated implementation plans.
• Track dependencies and ensure alignment across Engineering, Operations, Architecture, and third-party service providers.
• Forecast and align network changes with release calendars, adhering to enterprise change control standards.
• Maintain detailed communication and reporting with technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve delivery risks, ensuring on-time and in-scope execution.
• Support service transition and operational readiness during deployments.

Technical Focus Areas

• Enterprise Networks: Data Center, DMZ, Branch, Corporate, B2B, Wealth Management, and Financial Centers.
• Networking Technologies: SD-WAN, Switched Ethernet, WAN, Optical, Wireless LAN, LTE, Structured Cabling, Cable Pathways, Cloud and Virtualized Services.
• Supporting Technologies: Network Appliances, Video/Voice/VoIP, Unified Communications, and Collaboration Tools.

Qualifications

• Strong project and program management experience, preferably in large-scale network infrastructure environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, interdependent projects from initiation through delivery.
• Sound understanding of network design, deployment, and change control processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, and external vendors.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global and virtual team environments.
• Familiarity with service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL), enterprise change/release processes, and financial tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years in network infrastructure project management or release management.
• Technical background or certifications in networking (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
