[Hiring] Project Scheduler @Virtual Technologies Group

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Scheduler to support complex government and defense-related programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling methodologies, earned value management, and compliance with DCMA standards. This role requires close coordination with program managers, engineers, and analysts to ensure accurate planning and execution of project timelines.

• Receive and analyze weekly schedule updates and incorporate changes into P6 and MS Project schedules.
• Support stakeholders with navigation, status updates, reporting needs, and troubleshooting related to schedule tools.
• Maintain schedules that adhere to project WBS structures, interdependencies, and IMS integration requirements.
• Prepare and submit weekly status reports, deliverables, and schedule change request tracking.
• Ensure schedules meet GAO and DCMA criteria, flag issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in producing dashboards, extracts, and Power BI schedule reporting.
• Participate in schedule status meetings and IMS discussions with project teams.
• Support documentation of schedule processes, SOPs, and training materials.
• Comply with federal security, training, remote access, and data stewardship guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of experience with receiving and analyzing weekly schedule updates and supporting stakeholders using Primavera P6.
• Understanding of schedule interdependencies and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Knowledge of MS Project.
• Experience developing schedules following GAO best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Census suitability clearance.
