[Hiring] Project Manager @Skillforce

Role Description

Skillforce has teamed up with a construction leader to find a skilled Project Manager to work on their water and wastewater construction projects. The project location is in Barnstable, MA, but allows for work from home with occasional site visits and hotel accommodations if needed for someone traveling.

The Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater construction projects. This position will manage the project from initial planning through completion, including:

• Scheduling
• Budgeting
• Procurement
• Subcontractor coordination
• Project documentation
• Client communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Previous experience with water and/or wastewater treatment projects strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, methods, and project processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, costs, contracts, and subcontractor relationships.
• Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with field and office teams.
• Experience supervising or leading project teams with demonstrated decision-making ability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software such as Procore.
• Familiarity with construction accounting/cost management systems.
• Experience with scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 or similar.
• OSHA 30 certification required, must be willing to complete upon employment if you do not already have it.
• LEED, Lean, CPR/First Aid, or similar certifications are a plus.
