Role Description

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from start to finish. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you'll coordinate project documentation, track critical workflows, and help ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with quality standards. • Reports to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, if assigned.
• The Project Engineer position is intended to be a learning and support position in the Company.
• Can be stationed on a project site or in the home office.
• Can be assigned to multiple projects at one time.
• Successfully establish and complete a yearly Growth Plan.
• Process Information for the following tasks:
  • Submittals
  • Shop Drawings
  • RFI’s
  • Plan Changes
  • Specification Changes
  • Completion Lists
  • Procurement Log
  • Occupancy Matrix
  • Punch Lists
  • Close Out Documents
  • Meetings Agendas
  • Meeting Minutes
• Assist the Project Team with any daily activities as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
• Experience coordinating project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout documents.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with US-based project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar is an advantage but not required.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willing to work US business hours.
