[Hiring] Project Control Specialist, Associate @Parsons Corporation

Role Description

The Project Controls Specialist provides administrative support to the Project Controller by reviewing project documentation and cost backup for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with customer billing. The role also supports document management, spreadsheet tracking, and other project controls activities. The Project Controls Specialist at this level gains exposure to Company policies and procedures and utilizes his/her professional training on a variety of assignments.

• Review project documentation and supporting backup for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with customer billing requirements.
• Verify that costs and supporting documentation are properly aligned before customer invoices are issued.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Organize, maintain, and update files, and supporting documentation.
• Update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Provide administrative support and documentation management.
• Collaborate with the Project Controller and other project team members to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to review and organize detailed documentation and identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Positive, professional, and dependable attitude.
