Role Description

The Program Manager, Enterprise PMO is an experienced project and program management professional who leads Strive Pharmacy’s highest-priority, cross-departmental key initiatives. This position is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs that span multiple departments and areas of subject-matter expertise, and provides executive-level reporting to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the company’s highest-priority, cross-departmental programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Manage programs that span multiple departments and areas of expertise, coordinating effectively across diverse teams, priorities, and working styles.
• Partner with executive sponsors, project managers, and key stakeholders to define program scope, goals, success criteria, and expected deliverables.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and resource plans; proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Deliver clear, concise, and accurate executive-level reporting on program status, timeline, budget, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget, and to the expected scope and quality standards.
• Provide overflow project and program management support to the PMO during periods of peak demand or capacity constraints.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the PMO team to maintain consistent methodology, tools, and reporting standards across the broader PMO organization.
• Facilitate governance activities, including steering committee updates, stage-gate reviews, and program status meetings with executive audiences.
• Drive accountability across cross-functional project teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within program delivery and contribute to the maturity of the Enterprise PMO’s practices and standards.
• Manage change, scope, risk assessments, and communications across programs to keep stakeholders aligned as priorities and requirements evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in project and program management, including managing complex, cross-departmental programs.
• Demonstrated experience delivering executive-level reporting and communicating effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and programs spanning different departments, subject-matter areas, and levels of complexity.
• Strong track record of delivering programs on time, on budget, and to expected scope and quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with sound judgment in ambiguous or evolving situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly, including taking on overflow work as departmental PMO priorities and capacity shift.

Requirements

• Experience using Asana or similar project/program management software.
• A project or program management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or similar.
• Experience working within a healthcare, pharmacy, or highly regulated industry.
• Experience operating within, or alongside, a formal PMO structure.
