Role Description

The Program Manager will serve as the single point of accountability for all contractor performance under a large-scale federal communications contract. Responsibilities include overseeing a team delivering event support, toolkit development, research and analysis, and Resilience Challenge support to state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) stakeholders.

• Direct day-to-day execution of the contract and serve as the primary liaison to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
• Requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver, and action-oriented team player with previous experience in management consulting and business development pursuits.
• Commitment to providing superior service, poised under pressure, and a positive and flexible attitude.
• This is a contingent hire position, with offers contingent upon client approval and security requirements.
• Remote work is anticipated; candidates must be within commuting distance to Washington, DC metro area for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in program/project management, communications, marketing, or a related field, including experience on federal government contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• Currently holds, or is able to obtain, a DHS Fitness Determination/DHS Suitability.
• Demonstrated experience serving as Key Personnel or in a similarly accountable Program/Project Manager role on a federal contract, including direct supervision of staff.
• Experience managing communications, marketing, or outreach programs for a federal health, homeland security, or public sector client.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability/a Public Trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
