[Hiring] Lead Business Analyst/Program Manager @Amyx

Role Description

Amyx is currently looking for a Lead Business Analyst/Program Manager to support our client DHA in Falls Church, VA.

• Assist and support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) with system administration of procurement systems.
• Support system administration and a new contract writing system.
• Work as a member of the Acquisition Systems Division team, closely with the customer to support procurement functions.
• Provide technical direction involving multiple projects of high complexity with the DoD.
• Utilize extensive procurement information systems experience to provide effective solutions for:
• end-user functional support
• technical support
• user access
• training support requests for Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) and other DoD and DHA systems.
• Direct the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
• Support a new contract writing system.
• Build interfaces between systems, particularly with finance systems.
• Escalate risks, issues, concerns, and recommended solutions to client.
• Demonstrate communication skills with all levels of management.
• Set goals and execute with initiative.
• Coordinate and conduct customer work sessions to gather and document requirements.
• Configure system settings based on customer requirements.
• Translate business requirements into system requirements for configuration.
• Develop subject matter expertise for system capabilities.
• Be a self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and apply new skills.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; prioritize, multi-task, and work collaboratively.
• Develop and approve communication strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and lead senior-level client meetings.
• Prepare and present systems training to users.
• Support the development of an initial system roll-out training plan for effective rapid deployment.
• Assist with system user issues and other identified tasks.
• Communicate accurate information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (one year of related work experience may substitute for each year of required education).
• Extensive knowledge of the procurement business process.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, Estimation, and Planning.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the procurement field in the public and/or private sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with system administration in the public and/or private sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the DoD.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution.
• Knowledge of the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working both independently and with a team to solve problems.
• Experience in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings to facilitate and support contract requirements.
