Role Description

The IT Project Manager IV is responsible for overseeing multiple strategic projects simultaneously while managing project scope, project planning, proper scheduling, resource tracking, and budgeting. Duties additionally include risk & issue tracking, appropriate communication, escalation, and status reporting, with the goal of on-time delivery. In this role, you will use your wide range of experience and knowledge around industry best practices to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. You will partner with the Change Management Organization and Communication leads to ensure that impacts to people, process, and technology are known and there is an organizational change plan to address.

• Lead complex, strategic enterprise initiatives, managing scope, schedules, costs, risks, issues, and change impacts.
• Align cross-functional teams and resources, proactively addressing constraints and escalating issues as needed to keep initiatives on track.
• Manage project communications, status reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear visibility into progress, issues, and deliverables.
• Establish regular tracking against strategic goals, ensuring projects achieve intended business outcomes and benefits.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement by identifying process improvements, implementing innovative solutions, and conducting project retrospectives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile and/or Lean certification(s) a plus.
• 8+ years of project management experience, with a proven delivery record of accomplishment.
• 8+ years managing vendors, project budget management, and reporting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Jira, and Excel.
• Experience applying agile methods, Lean principles, and practices.
• Ability to lead and influence peer groups at the executive level.
• Expert in establishing strong relationships with leadership and fostering collaboration throughout the organization.
• Ability to adapt, apply flexibility, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong capability to work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
