Role Description

We are looking for someone to lead technology projects at the intersection of taxes, business processes, and new technologies. This position is for someone who can connect business needs with the work of technology teams – organizing the scope, translating needs into requirements, managing dependencies, and driving the project from idea to implementation. You will work on projects related to:

• Automation of tax processes
• AI
• Data & analytics
• Workflow
• RPA
• Building scalable technology products

In this role, you will work with an ecosystem of tools where AI agents are partners in daily advisory work. Together, you will analyze regulations, interpretations, and data, automate processes, and create documents and recommendations for clients. AI is an integral part of operational work, not an add-on.

Responsibilities:

• Leading digital transformation projects end-to-end – from defining scope to implementation and stabilization of the solution.
• Collaborating with business, tax teams, IT, developers, data/AI, and technology providers.
• Gathering and organizing business requirements and translating them into functional and technical requirements.
• Mapping AS-IS / TO-BE processes and identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and scaling.
• Managing backlog, priorities, schedule, risks, dependencies, and scope changes.
• Coordinating the work of multiple teams and ensuring the achievement of key milestones.
• Organizing workshops with business and technology teams.
• Verifying that the developed solution meets the actual business need and the established process model.
• Coordinating testing, UAT, implementation, and handover of the solution for further maintenance.
• Preparing project status updates, decisions, materials for management, and project communications.
• Identifying opportunities for reuse and building solutions that can be utilized across multiple processes or teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading IT projects, digital transformation, automation, or business transformation.
• Ability to work simultaneously with business and technology teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently.
• Skills in structuring problems and translating vague business needs into concrete requirements and tasks.
• Experience in a project environment where scope and execution methods may evolve.
• Stakeholder management skills at various organizational levels.
• Independence, ownership, and ability to drive topics to completion.
• Very good communication skills – both with business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in English allowing for smooth collaboration with international teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of tax processes – especially CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting, or other compliance processes.
• Experience in projects executed for tax, finance, accounting, or controlling departments.
• Experience in transforming tax/financial processes.
