The primary purpose for this role is to lead and manage the delivery of major technology initiatives on behalf of OHA and ODHS.

• Lead the largest, highest risk, and most complex technology projects for ODHS and OHA.
• Direct and manage the work of senior level project managers, coordinators, and other project staff.
• Work closely with the EDGE Senior IT Director in assisting the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
• Collaborate with ODHS and OHA Chief Operating Officers, Project Directors, and Program Leaders.
• Coordinate with the State CIO’s office, State Procurement Office, Legislative Fiscal Office, State Data Center, and federal funding partners.
• Participate in setting the strategic direction for the use of technology to support OHA and ODHS programmatic and administrative functions.
• Create tactical plans and project plans and may be involved in statewide planning efforts.
• Provide project management expertise, coaching, and best practices through the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO).
• Assist the EDGE Senior IT Director by representing OIS in statewide and central/shared services groups.

Qualifications

• Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience.
• OR four years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Management experience in an IT organization.
• 4-6 years’ experience leading a Project Delivery team for large scale initiatives.
• 4-6 years’ experience managing a project portfolio of greater than $50 million.
• 4-6 years’ experience in executive communication, relationship building, and collaboration.
• PMP certification.
• Strong customer service orientation and a high degree of responsiveness to customer requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to advise on large, complex IT initiatives and guide project teams through significant challenges.
