[Hiring] IT Epic Senior Project Manager @CommonSpirit Health

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Epic Project Manager to lead and manage the Epic Revenue implementations. This role requires a strong understanding of Epic Revenue (Grand Central, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Reporting) workflows and functionalities.

• Key contributors in the development of the organization's transformation strategy.
• Responsible and accountable for delivering the best-practice approach for project engagement, delivery, and adoption.
• Define areas including resource allocations, influencing sponsors, and managing work prioritization.
• Active role in making decisions involving human resources, technical, and financial resources.
• Design processes and structures to support enterprise-wide change.
• Contribute to early engagement, project gap analysis, and operational change management.
• Promote successful relationship management and customer adoption.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management lifecycle methodology.
• Assigned to medium or large, complex projects, often as a contributor project manager on programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Other Related Field or Equivalent Professional Experience, upon hire.
• 7+ years of experience in project management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Epic implementations required.
• 7+ years with strong functional understanding of hospital, clinic, and billing operations.
• 3+ Multi-hospital and large project management experience.
• Possess a deep understanding of Epic Revenue (Grand Central, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Reporting) workflows and functionalities.
• Project Management experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in Project Management methodologies and tool sets – waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, etc.
• Possess thorough understanding of Healthcare Business and Care Delivery processes.
• Possess strong understanding of digital technology, clinical information systems, and how clinical information is integrated into the patient, consumer, and provider digital experience.

Requirements

• EPIC Certification preferred.
• Project Management Professional preferred.
