Role Description
This role involves directing international liaison efforts with Personal Property Shipping Offices.
- Coordinate and/or execute timely interchange of information
- Coordinate customer and company requests
- De-conflict household goods execution issues between the client and HomeSafe Alliance
- Frequent travel, including international trips to conferences, military installations, or site visits
- Strong understanding of port requirements/consolidation, customs clearance, ocean/air freight, and operations
- Provide GHC contract requirements to JPPSO staff
- Directly support USTRANSCOM staff elements
- Conduct Quality Control of Transportation Service Providers (TPS’s)
- Conduct international virtual warehouse inspections
- Communicate client change requests with HomeSafe Alliance operations
- Keep a JPPSO Region Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Action log updated
- Measure performance per USTRANSCOM GHC RFP and HomeSafe Alliance Proposal KPIs and SLA performance standards
- Meet or exceed Regional capacity expansion campaign goals
- Be a liaison for regional transportation service providers
- Utilize reporting and dashboards to monitor market progress
- Report trends, patterns, and forecasted concerns of the supply chain to the VP of Network Development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Directly related management experience in logistics, manufacturing, production, or distribution
- Travel availability from 25-40% required
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
- Demonstrated experience with performance metrics and process improvement
- Flexibility for supporting customers in multiple time zones
- Position is remote/virtual; preferred candidate should reside locally within the Region
- Former Military Transportation/MilMove HHG Experience preferred
