[Hiring] Head of Delivery @City Innovations

Role Description

City Innovations is searching for a dynamic and experienced Head of Delivery to lead and manage our service teams. This includes venture builders, CX designers, marketing strategists, product managers, and technology leaders and partner companies. As a key executive, this role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of our products and services, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This strategic role requires detailed planning, resource management, and collaboration across various resources to drive innovation and growth. The Head of Delivery will leverage City Innovations' core methodologies to achieve exceptional results.

• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of service delivery, ensuring alignment with City Innovations' overall goals and objectives.
• Promote a culture of innovation within the delivery teams, encouraging the development of new methods and technologies to improve service delivery.
• Utilize the Lean Canvas for rapid business model validation, identifying viable market opportunities and defining clear, measurable metrics.
• Apply the Jobs to Be Done framework to deeply understand client needs and tailor solutions that directly address those needs.
• Conduct experiments and validations using the Market Validation Funnel to refine product features and market strategies.
• Facilitate Google Design Sprints to rapidly prototype and test ideas, reducing time to market and enhancing product-market fit.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the City Innovations quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery, maintaining a consistent client experience.
• Ensure alignment between product development, technology implementation, and client delivery to enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in an executive leadership role within delivery or product management, with a proven track record of successful project execution and client management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Centered Design or a related field a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to empathize with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges to better serve them.
