Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of portfolio managers, program managers, and/or scrum masters.
  • Build and lead a world-class team, set goals, assign team members to programs and initiatives.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts, and resources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the execution and advancement of PPM practices.

Specific areas of focus:

  • Digital Strategy/Transformational Projects Execution: Lead execution of digital road map, establish and manage business processes, programs, and initiatives.
  • Culture of Innovation: Define execution plan to disseminate innovative capabilities across businesses.
  • Program Risk and Issue Management: Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Portfolio Risk and Issue Management: Ensure risks or issues are managed appropriately at the portfolio level.
  • Program/Portfolio Planning: Ensure all activities are organized and resourced to deliver program objectives.
  • Reporting and Review: Oversee planning and delivery of review processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive review of existing operations to generate new ideas.
  • Program Assurance: Ensure independent assurance reviews are conducted.
  • Resource Management: Ensure programs are prioritized and resourced effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Program Team Management: Set direction and work assignments for team members.
  • Leadership and Direction: Identify and communicate actions needed to implement strategy.
  • Benefit Realization: Oversee strategy to ensure intended business benefits are realized.
  • Transformational Change Management: Act as a transformational change agent.
  • Program Governance: Ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead governance and delivery of portfolio outcomes.
  • Budgeting: Drive, develop and/or deliver budget plans.
  • Organizational Capability Building: Evaluate capabilities of staff and prioritize development activities.
  • Information and Business Advice: Provide authoritative specialist advice to leadership.
  • Performance Management: Manage and report on performance of a diverse team.
  • Digital Vision and Strategy: Contribute to the development of the digital road map.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Level
  • Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 to 15 years)
  • Experience interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives (Over 10 to 15 years)
  • Big Box retail experience (7-10 years)

  • Targeted Pay Range: $114,300.00 - $190,500.00.
