Role Description

We are looking for a Field Deployment Manager – Technical Solutions to lead the successful deployment of connected building technology across commercial properties while providing hands-on technical support for complex deployment and customer issues. This is primarily a project ownership and deployment management role , with a strong technical component.

• Manage deployments from pre-installation planning through final go-live.
• Coordinate third-party installers, contractors, client IT teams, facilities teams, and other stakeholders.
• Approximately 20% of the role may involve technical support and ticketing.
• Provide technical direction to contractors and resolve deployment blockers.
• Maintain clear project documentation, status updates, deployment records, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing or deploying physical technology in commercial buildings.
• Demonstrated experience owning projects from planning through completion.
• Strong ability to read and interpret floor plans, building plans, and construction drawings.
• Practical IP networking knowledge.
• Experience coordinating third-party contractors, installers, field service teams, or vendors.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to understand the customer/business impact of technical issues.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and guide others through remote/on-site troubleshooting.
• Strong project coordination, organization, and execution skills.
• Ability to take ownership of problems through resolution rather than simply escalating them.
