[Hiring] Event Manager @Contour Education

Role Description

This is a remote position.

As the dedicated project manager behind Contour's events, you will:

• Manage a calendar that includes full exam simulation days, revision lecture series, parent workshops, and online sessions.
• Oversee each event from first brief to post-event review, including timeline, venue, suppliers, registration milestones, comms deadlines, run sheet, event-day coordination, and wrap-up.
• Report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and coordinate with marketing, academic, and operations teams.
• Build a playbook for event delivery, including project plans and run sheet templates.
• Work remotely from India while events are delivered in Australia.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience delivering projects or events where you held the entire timeline.
• Experience delivering work that depended on people who did not report to you.
• Strong writing skills for clear documentation.
• Clean document and data habits.
• Comfortable working across time zones.

Requirements

• Ability to chase and escalate issues effectively.
• Experience with remote event management.
• Hands-on experience with monday.com, Eventbrite, or HubSpot.
• Negotiation skills with venues and suppliers.
