Role Description

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Manager (Clinical) to lead enterprise-wide deployments across our national health system. You will drive end-to-end clinical application implementations, partner closely with clinical and executive leadership, and ensure successful adoption across complex care environments. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise shapes how care is delivered across dozens of hospitals.

• Lead enterprise-wide clinical Epic implementations across 50+ hospitals
• Influence provider workflows, patient care, and clinical outcomes
• Own delivery across full lifecycle: design → build → go-live
• Lead and mentor large high-performing analyst teams
• Partner directly with CMOs, Nursing Leadership, and Executives

Responsibilities

• Oversee Clinical applications and manage all aspects of future Epic implementations at Prime hospitals
• Build relationships with hospital leadership to ensure corporate and local initiatives are incorporated into future implementations
• Oversee a comprehensive handoff to the Production Support team after each go-live
• Supervise performance of all analysts on the team, which is comprised of the applications in their domain Clinical
• Lead hospitals through each phase of the journey; from early planning and workflow design to go-live and stabilization
• Collaborate with clinical and executive leaders to align system design with real-world care delivery
• Guide your team through build and testing milestones
• Proactively navigate challenges to keep implementations on track
• Ensure teams are supported, workflows function as intended, and clinicians are set up for success during go-live

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of applicable work experience required
• Minimum five (5) years of experience working with electronic medical record required
• Experience leading an Epic implementation required
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in project management preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred
• Experience leading large teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements

• Travel Requirement: This is a remote role that requires frequent travel (up to 50–75% annually) to hospital sites across the U.S., notably during key implementation phases
