[Hiring] Enterprise Transformation Lead @Humana

Role Description

The Enterprise Transformation Lead plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma. The Enterprise Transformation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

This position is created specifically to assist with Humana’s efforts to secure and, if awarded, transition into a new business opportunity. Please note that continued employment in this role is expressly contingent upon Humana’s receipt of the business opportunity and a satisfactory transition into the work. In the event Humana does not pursue the opportunity or determines that a timely and satisfactory transition cannot be achieved, employment may be subject to termination.

• Plans, performs, and implements end-to-end process improvement and implementation initiatives across divisional or matrixed teams, with emphasis on provider implementation and/or provider operations knowledge.
• Leads highly visible, cross-functional initiatives from concept through closure, including development and management of project plans, project charters, milestones, dependencies, critical path, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Diagrams and evaluates existing processes, identifies operational gaps, and develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and future improvement opportunities.
• Collects and analyzes data to determine root cause of problems, measures performance against process requirements, and aligns improvement efforts to identified performance shortfalls.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance, operational readiness, implementation outcomes, and product or service quality.
• Supports communication planning and execution by creating and distributing presentations, newsletters, status updates, articles, white papers, training materials, or other communications necessary to drive stakeholder alignment and successful resolution implementation.
• Serves as a self-starter who takes initiative, owns complex assignments, and manages initiatives and deliverables through completion.
• Proactively identifies risks, drives mitigation strategies, escalates barriers as appropriate, and ensures outcomes are achieved rather than simply tracking tasks.
• May employ methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma and perform cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years technical experience in Payor Operations
• 5+ years in project leadership
• 5+ years in process improvement
• 5+ years executive communications (reports, presentations, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare services
• Six Sigma Black Belt and Agile certification

Requirements

• In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

• $115,200 - $158,400 per year
• This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
