Role Description

The Director of Technical Delivery will lead the team at Delta-V, managing developers and contract resources, running the build queue, owning the process, keeping platforms running, and handling onboarding and migrations.

• Lead the team.
• Manage Delta-V's developers and contract resources: workload, priorities, growth.
• Be the escalation point for blocked work or undocumented processes.
• Translate requirements into buildable tasks and technical findings into client-friendly language.

• Run the build queue.
• Manage emails, SMS, donor journeys, landing pages, forms, integrations, and tracking.
• Balance recurring client work against projects and year-end fundraising surges.
• Ensure work is ready before developers pick it up: complete requirements, assets in hand, access confirmed.

• Own the process.
• Build QA checklists, intake standards, and requirements templates.
• Document recurring mistakes to prevent future issues.
• Standardize build patterns for portability between developers.

• Keep the platforms running.
• Manage provisioning and access across the client portfolio, including credentials and secure handoffs.
• Set up DNS and subdomains for sending domains and landing pages.
• Ensure documentation is current for developer accessibility.

• Handle onboarding and migrations.
• Own the technical side of new client onboarding, from platform assessment through first sends.
• Lead migrations when clients change CRMs, donation platforms, or websites, ensuring post-migration validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing technology, email production, or digital marketing operations.
• 2+ years managing developers or technical production staff.
• Conversant in HTML, scripting, and modern development workflows.
• Experience building processes, such as checklists or QA standards.
• Ability to make decisions when documented processes are insufficient.
• Steady under deadline pressure.
• Clear writing skills for requirements, documentation, and coordination.

Requirements

• Helpful, but not required: experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or nonprofit CRMs (Virtuous, Engaging Networks, Blackbaud/Luminate).
• Agency experience managing multiple client contexts.
• HTML email debugging and rendering troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tracking and conversion QA.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, donation platforms, or direct response marketing.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools in a production workflow.
