Role Description

Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of deployments across business, technology, and operational teams. The Deployment Manager ensures each release is ready to deploy, dependencies and risks are understood, and all required activities are coordinated through go-live and stabilization.

• Own the integrated deployment plan across business and technology workstreams.
• Drive deployment readiness across environments, data, integrations, testing, training, communications, cutover, and support.
• Coordinate dependencies across application teams, infrastructure, vendors, business teams, and other programs.
• Establish and manage deployment milestones, entry/exit criteria, and readiness checkpoints.
• Facilitate deployment readiness reviews and provide a clear view of risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Own the cutover plan, including sequencing, ownership, timing, dependencies, contingency planning, and command-center readiness.
• Ensure open defects, technical issues, and operational risks are understood and appropriately incorporated into deployment decisions.
• Coordinate Go/No-Go preparation and ensure decision-makers have a concise, fact-based readiness view.
• Drive resolution and escalation of deployment blockers.
• Coordinate go-live execution and transition into hypercare/stabilization.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the deployment approach across releases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing complex enterprise deployments or releases.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across business and technical teams.
• Strong integrated planning, dependency management, risk management, and executive communication skills.
• Experience with cutover, release readiness, Go/No-Go governance, and production stabilization.
• Comfortable operating across multiple workstreams without replacing the accountability of individual workstream owners.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive decisions and escalate effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
