[Hiring] Delivery Manager @Rootshell Enterprise Technologies, Inc.

Role Description

As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data engineering projects, ensuring timely execution, quality, and alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver solutions leveraging:

• Databricks
• AWS
• Medallion Architecture principles

The role requires a blend of technical acumen and leadership capabilities to manage both people and projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) managing and delivering data engineering projects using Databricks, AWS, and Medallion Architecture.
• Strong understanding of Databricks (including Delta Lake) and its role in building scalable and optimized data pipelines.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience in services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
• Experience in designing and implementing Medallion Architecture for data processing and storage (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers).
• Deep knowledge of data engineering practices, ETL/ELT processes, and working with large datasets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) for project management and delivery.
• Experience with additional data platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Certifications in AWS, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Experience working in a client-facing environment and managing client expectations.
