Role Description

As a Consulting Project Principal Consultant in Oracle Health Government Services, you will lead project delivery and provide strategic consulting oversight for one or more projects, partnering with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes. You will be accountable for the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules, and estimates, while providing analytical, operational, and advisory guidance to project teams to ensure successful execution and high client satisfaction.

• Review and approve project deliverables and team outputs to ensure alignment with scope, quality, compliance, and productivity expectations.
• Implement additional processes, governance, or reviews as needed to address systemic or recurring issues.
• Identify, assess, and report on project risks, leading risk avoidance and mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
• Lead internal and external project meetings, presenting updates on progress against critical paths and milestones, key operational and financial measures, and overall risk posture.
• Engage and manage third-party resources as needed to support project objectives and ensure delivery commitments are met.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of total combined completed higher education and related work experience including:
• At least 1 year of project/program management work experience.
• At least 4 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job.
• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position.
• This position requires you to be a U.S. citizen due to the client contract you will be assigned.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, Information Technology.
• Master's in Business Administration.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI).

Requirements

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location.
• Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed.
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
