[Hiring] Associate Project Manager @Energy Project Partners, LLC

2mths ago - Energy Project Partners, LLC is hiring a remote Associate Project Manager. 💸 Salary: unspecified 📍Location: USA

Role Description

The Associate Project Manager (APM) is a junior, owner’s representative project management role that functions as the project coordinator on utility-scale energy projects — wind, solar, and battery-energy-storage (BESS) — as a member of EPP’s Project Management Solutions (PMS) team. The APM owns the administrative and documentation backbone of project delivery, working heavily in tools like Procore to manage submittals, RFIs, and document transmittals.

The APM reports to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the project organization and to the Director – Resource Solutions within the EPP Resources division. Beyond documentation, the APM facilitates contract management, pay-application processing, change-order execution, and owner-furnished-equipment coordination, and takes on tasks delegated by the PM while developing toward independent project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Documentation & Coordination (Procore):
    • Manage project submittals, RFIs, and document transmittals in Procore and related systems.
    • Maintain organized, accurate project records, logs, and correspondence.
    • Support project meetings, minutes, action-item tracking, and status reporting.
  • Contract & Change Management:
    • Facilitate project contract management and administration, including in Procore and Ironclad (or similar).
    • Facilitate the contract and change-order negotiation, execution, and documentation process.
    • Track contract deliverables, obligations, and change-order status on behalf of the owner.
  • Pay Applications, Invoicing & Budget:
    • Facilitate approval and dispositioning of pay applications from contractors and vendors.
    • Process invoices and run budget reports within the owner’s ERP / accounting systems (e.g., SAP).
    • Support cost tracking and budget documentation on behalf of the owner.
  • Procurement & Owner-Furnished Equipment:
    • Assist in procurement management of owner-furnished equipment (OFE), including coordinating deliveries with contractors.
    • Track equipment status, logistics, and related documentation.
  • PM Support & Development:
    • Assist the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with delegated tasks across the project lifecycle.
    • Build working knowledge of owner’s-rep project delivery and EPP’s project management methodology.
    • Follow all quality and safety requirements on behalf of the owner.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 0–3 years of project coordination, project controls, or project management experience.
    • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Procore.
    • Willingness to travel to project sites and work in a client-facing role.
    • Must have authorization to work permanently in the United States.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Procore, Ironclad, SAP (or a similar ERP), and document management systems.
    • Exposure to construction contract administration, pay applications, submittals/RFIs, or procurement / owner-furnished-equipment coordination.
    • Exposure to utility-scale energy or construction projects; CAPM certification (or active pursuit of CAPM/PMP).

Professional Development Opportunity

EPP views this role as a development pathway into owner’s representative project management. Associates who demonstrate strong performance progress to Project Manager and, with experience, to Senior Project Manager.
