Role Description

Ampacity is seeking an Associate Project Designer to develop strategic project plans, manage timelines, and maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will create project documentation, analyze data sources, and track progress while ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. This is a remote position.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities while being open to different points of view
• Prior experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred and will be prioritized
• Experience with ArcGIS and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated to research and report in great detail and with clarity
• Exceptional time management skills, self-awareness, and flexibility
• Trustworthy and comfortable with working while being isolated in front of a computer for multiple hours at a time
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually

Requirements

• Develop project strategy plans based on logical frameworks through design processes like Summaries and Layouts
• Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications with Sales Directors and other Design Team members
• Create and manage documentation and reports for projects within our shared Drive
• Identify the goals and requirements of each project through communication with Sales Directors
• Analyze various federal and local data collection outfits to gain necessary project information
• Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
• Maintain current knowledge on product manufacturer’s requirements applicable to each project

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is - USD $30.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
