[Hiring] Stability & Documentation Manager @Grüns

Role Description

We're looking for a Stability & Documentation Manager to join our Gummy R&D team. This role is focused on proving that our gummy formulations stay consistent and keeping every document that defines a SKU accurate and current.

• Design and run the stability testing program across our gummy portfolio.
• Determine test method compatibility and negotiate directly with testing labs.
• Responsible for the full document suite on every SKU, including specs and SFPs.
• Stage specifications and sign off on them.
• Reports to the Director, R&D and sits within the Product organization.
• Part of a fully remote, high-trust work environment.

In this role, you will:

• Run the stability testing program, including setting up protocols, timepoints, tracking results, and presenting data.
• Decide on the appropriateness of proposed or existing test methods.
• Handle price and scope negotiations with third-party testing labs.
• Review and maintain the document suite for every SKU to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
• Stage product specifications from draft through final sign-off.
• Identify stability or documentation issues early, such as ingredient degradation or packaging interactions.
• Collect and review formulation and ingredient documents for assessment.
• Work with Quality, Operations, and co-manufacturers to maintain consistency across the supply chain.
• Keep a clean paper trail across the document suite for SKU history reconstruction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in R&D, quality, or product development in supplements, food, or a similar regulated category.
• Experience designing and running stability studies, including validating test methods for complex matrices.
• Knowledge of gummy chemistry to identify test method limitations.
• Experience negotiating with contract testing labs on price, scope, or turnaround.
• Comfortable owning specs end to end and signing off on them.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills with cross-functional teams, co-manufacturers, and outside labs.
