[Hiring] Senior Technical Product Manager @CVS Health

Role Description

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product delivery of our Documents Domain which is integrated with the organization's Epic electronic health record (EHR) platform and supports multiple business areas. You will own the product requirements for our document ingestion pipelines, integration with downstream applications, domain services and UX/UI for document viewer. These services are critical for ensuring our providers and care teams have access to clinical documentation that drives patient diagnosis and care coordination. You will partner with business and engineering leaders to lead a product domain and deliver high-quality products that improve healthcare delivery.

• Define the product vision and strategic direction for your Epic Domain, ensuring continuous alignment with senior business and engineering leaders.
• Translate high-level business goals into a clear, actionable product strategy tied to OKRs.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define the product roadmap, overseeing day-to-day backlog management and prioritization.
• Assess value and develop business cases to inform the nature and scope of new initiatives.
• Coordinate with technical partners from engineering, data science, and user design in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Coordinate closely with PM peers in the eFax, Conditions and Medical Record Exchange domains on shared dependencies.
• Work alongside the design team to create high-quality, intuitive products for end-users.
• Define and manage the launch of new products, including creating training materials and documentation for end-users.
• Identify and act on opportunities for product improvement through quantitative analysis and user feedback.
• Deliver executive-level reporting on product status, risks, and decisions needed.
• Develop testing procedures and governance for onsite, monthly, and quarterly Epic assessments.
• Partner with training and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and feedback loops for Epic-based product releases.
• Support approval of product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps.
• Support domain leaders in recruiting, hiring, and developing product and informatics talent.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant work experience in product management and/or healthcare informatics.
• Meaningful exposure to document and/or data pipelines, HL7 and SMART-on-FHIR integration patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technically complex, domain services.
• Proven leader: Comfortable driving strategic decisions and coordinating resources.
• Highly collaborative: Excel at working with senior-level stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset: Use data to measure product impact and evaluate success.
• Skilled in change management and driving user adoption of clinical technology.

Requirements

• Epic certification(s) in one or more modules relevant to the role.
• Experience in Value Based Care and Medicare/Medicare Advantage.
• Experience in healthcare, digital health solutions and/or EHR integrations.
• Subject matter expertise in electronic fax, medical record management, order management.
• 4+ years as a Product Manager.
• Experience with data analytics and core healthcare metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful and quantifiable impact to the business.

Education

• BS in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $199,144.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
