    • Align with the company’s long-term goals and product strategy while solving immediate customer pain points.
    • Contribute insights that shape the 2-3 year company’s product portfolio vision.
  • Deliver business impact:
    • Set quarterly OKRs for your product area in partnership with the Director.
    • Hold yourself and team accountable for product-level outcomes.
    • Monitor performance metrics and implement review cycles to ensure features drive customer retention, engagement, and revenue.
    • Drive products through the stage gate process, owning deliverables and analysis for your product area.
    • Partner with the Director on cross-product investment decisions.
  • Participate in planning:
    • Own and execute research initiatives.
    • Develop product concepts and plans to deliver business goals.

  • Partner with Design:
    • Work with Design to create mission-aligned, feasible user experiences.
    • Write clear, concise specifications and manage a prioritized backlog.
  • Partner with Curriculum and Supply Chain:
    • Translate pedagogical best practice into engaging and rigorous print and digital product experiences.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to define physical components and product specifications.
    • Balance classroom performance/durability expectations, instructional quality standards, and brand and safety requirements while achieving margin targets.
  • Be obsessed with your customers:
    • Passionately advocate for your users in all phases of product development.
    • Conduct qualitative research (interviews, focus groups, observations) and quantitative analysis to deeply understand user needs.
    • Translate user needs into product priorities.
  • Leverage market intelligence:
    • Continuously analyze competitor curriculum offerings to identify gaps, differentiators, and winning features.
    • Observe industry trends and incorporate findings into future plans driving competitive advantage and differentiation.
  • Own end-to-end product delivery:
    • Lead products and the teams that create and enable them from ideation and requirement gathering to launch and post-launch iteration.
    • Be ultimately accountable for product quality and scope, product and organizational readiness, PD strategy, and delivery timeline.
  • Lead product execution:
    • Lead ceremonies for multiple teams.
    • Attend daily stand ups and work with APM/teams to ensure all blockers are resolved within 24 hours.
    • Provide broader context and goals to cross-functional teams for sprint plans and features.
  • Harness strategic influence:
    • Lead by influence, not authority.
    • Align senior leadership and stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, CX) around your product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
    • Be the organization’s “go to” person for your products and features.
  • Enable go-to-market success:
    • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and CX to develop positioning, internal training, and external messaging.
