[Hiring] Senior Product Manager, Data Platform Extensibility @Attentive

Role Description

Attentive’s Data Platform collects and stores data on behalf of our brands across many verticals, from our roots in e-commerce to physical retail, sports, entertainment, travel, and hospitality. Retail brands with physical stores want product inventory modeled down to the store location. Multinational brands want product catalogs and their customers segregated by market. A sports franchise wants live events and ticketing data modeled so that marketing agents know the right time and context to personalize messaging for any customer.

All the data clients want to ingest into the Attentive platform is activated across our product surface areas, from our core SMS & email products to our next-generation suite of marketing agents.

As the Senior Product Manager, Data Platform Extensibility, you will own the evolution of the Attentive data model to support these use cases. Your mandate is to build the generic primitives that let Attentive model any customer's business in our platform. You will decide which data entities become first-class concepts in the platform and which stay flexible to meet other customer needs. This role requires deep technical fluency in data modeling to recognize patterns across seemingly disconnected use cases to identify solutions that can scale across a broad set of verticals that Attentive will expand rapidly into.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Introduce new first-class and generic data objects to the data platform, starting with the gaps slowing down enterprise deals today, and establish the paradigm that makes each subsequent object dramatically cheaper to add.
• Define how objects relate to one another — users to offers, events to catalogs, catalogs to stores and regions — unlocking use cases like bring-your-own product and offer recommendations that customers cannot express in the platform today.
• Build the semantic layer that tells marketers and agents what their data means, and decide what data gets promoted to native object entities.
• Partner across product and engineering to ensure every new object and field is consistently exposed to segmentation, personalization, reporting, and our APIs and MCP surfaces — so both marketers and agents can reason over and act on it.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience building complex B2B or SaaS platforms, with a track record of owning ambiguous, high-scope problem spaces end to end.
• Strong technical fluency with data models and schemas — you can go deep with engineers on storage, relationships, extensibility, and migration tradeoffs, and you understand how an API contract shapes what customers can and cannot do.
• Ability to translate abstract infrastructure investment into concrete customer outcomes and business impact that executives and sellers can act on.
• Comfort learning an unfamiliar industry quickly and modeling it accurately — you enjoy the work of understanding how a business actually operates before deciding how the platform should represent it.
• Exceptional written communication and structured thinking. Much of this role is defining strategy from a blank page and aligning teams around it.

Salary Information

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $210,000 annually + equity + benefits.
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
