Role Description
As a Senior Product Manager of the Experience Team you will play a key role in shaping the future of the Going mobile app. Your focus will be on uncovering customer & process pain points, testing hypotheses, and translating insights into actionable product strategies and experiences that drive material business impact in the form of new paying members.
- Ambitious with a honed product intuition
- Eager to dig into the travel problem space
- Invest the least to learn the most
- Identify major assumptions and risks up front
- Own your roadmap and proactively share lessons learned
- Comfortable with ambiguity, autonomy, and complexity
- Work with a talented team of full stack engineering, design, and analysts
- Use data and experimentation to guide decisions
- Partner with Marketing, PR, and Member Success
Qualifications
- 3+ years of consumer facing mobile app Product Management experience
- Comfortable in a start-up environment and/or successfully launched 0-1 products end-to-end
- Proven track record of providing impactful product solutions and making data-driven decisions
- Deeply familiar with event tracking and experimentation frameworks
- Close working experience with Front End Engineers, Back End Engineers, UX/UI Design, and Marketing
- Ability to proactively think through complex problems
- Roadmap approach that is highly adaptable to the greater business context
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Requirements
- Track record of optimizing existing product lines and/or building new revenue-generating ones
- Laser focused on understanding, refining, and articulating the problem your team is solving
- Sweat the technical details to enhance strategic problem solving skills
- Hungry to dive into customer and business data
- Value clarity over verboseness in communication
- Develop products that tie together member opportunities and strategic business needs
- Work backwards from business and customer goals
