Role Description
Reporting to the VP of Product, as a Senior PM here at Coconut, you’ll drive a critical company-level growth, product vision, strategy, and data driven roadmap that delivers!
- Drive product strategy for core offerings that empower customer experiences for banks.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure the platform empowers both internal and external customers.
- Determine the future of the platform in areas like AI and develop a strategy around APIs.
- Work cross-functionally across business and tech to align around goals and develop insights.
- Give product demos and present to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience (Bonus points if it’s in SaaS or Banking).
- A technical background (APIs, Integrations, etc.) especially in SaaS companies that are rapidly scaling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A growth mindset with a track record of pursuing professional growth through teaching or mentorship.
- Demonstrated knowledge of design principles for mobile and web.
- Success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proven ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- A keen business sense and ability to leverage data to develop and prioritize strategic objectives.
- Ability to travel - expect to travel to customers or our head office from time to time (around once a quarter).
Requirements
- Manage product roadmap, define key milestones, customer requirements, and key product metrics.
- Develop product epics and partner with Development on accountability for OKRs.
- Maintain clear communication between Product and Development.
- Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
- Regularly meet with customers to better understand their needs.
- Validate requirements and the resulting product with customers and customer success teams.
- Act as customer advocate - be the voice of the customer.
- Manage customer feature requests through Pendo.
- Work with Product Marketing to determine aligned problems to solve.
- Be a market expert - understand customer purchasing reasons and competition.
- Aid in developing product positioning.
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
- Understand the cost of development and product overhead.
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Support and mentor ascending members of the Product team.
