[Hiring] Senior Manager, Product Category Management, Generic Pharmaceuticals @Henry Schein

Role Description

This position is fully accountable to lead the highly complex product category of Generic Pharmaceuticals and acts as the primary support to their manager. Responsibilities include:

• Leads supplier partner relationships.
• Plans and develops the marketing and sales efforts for a category of products.
• Responsible for developing plans that will result in increased sales, market share, and/or profitability.
• Category analysis, strategy development, supplier profitability and contribution, category maintenance, and new product launches.
• Supplier distribution agreement negotiations, new item review, and setup.
• Develops and/or reviews/approves recommendations and product analysis for the Senior Management team.
• Acts as a mentor to other PCMs and specialists.

Qualifications

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in applicable professional experience.
• 5 years of combined marketing and/or sales experience, or the equivalent required.
• 3 or more years of management experience.
