Role Description

As a Senior Manager, Drug Rebate Product, you will own the strategic direction and delivery of Medicaid Drug Rebate solutions that support client programs, regulatory requirements, and business growth. In this role, you will shape product priorities, guide solution decisions, and work across product, development, testing, implementation, and operations teams to translate business needs into practical solutions that improve efficiency, usability, and delivery outcomes.

Your role in our mission:

• Manages, directly or indirectly, a team of 5+ members responsible for performing development, testing, implementation support and drug rebate operations across client sites.
• Manages tasks within the drug rebate business area, including problem resolution, quality control, performance and change requests.
• Manages client relationships through daily operations as well as change requests and special projects and system implementations.
• Provides project oversight and management of rebate team and tasks.
• Prepares test documents and oversees testing plans for new development as well as change requests.
• Supports new business efforts by preparing Request for Information/Request for Proposal (RFI/RFP) bid responses and providing demonstrations and presentations of Gainwell’s Drug Rebate solution.
• Provides oversight and assists in drug rebate Design, Development, and Implementations (DDIs), as well as system enhancements design.
• Contributes to Drug Rebate direction and strategy planning, as well as resourcing and forecasting.
• Provides oversight of staff productivity/performance metrics.
• Provides support to all Drug Rebate activities, including new initiatives, federal program changes, and state-specific enhancements.
• Drives innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends across client implementations to advance the Drug Rebate product strategy, operational processes, and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8 or more years of experience working with Medicaid Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI), or Change Requests, and solution enhancement projects.
• 5 or more years of experience managing direct or indirect team members.
• Experience in capturing, documenting, and managing client requirements and complex business processes.
• Experience managing client relationships for change requests, special projects, and system implementations.
• Experience preparing and overseeing testing plans for drug rebate Design, Development, and Implementations (DDIs), as well as system enhancements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, testing and defect resolution.

Requirements

• This position is 100% remote, up to 20% travel to support key client meetings.

• The pay range for this position is $101,300.00 - $144,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
