Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Owner (m/f/d) to drive the development and continuous improvement of data-driven products and solutions.

• Responsible for backlog management, translating existing documentation into actionable requirements, and coordinating stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Ensure that business needs are translated into clear requirements and successfully delivered throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment.
• Translate existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items.
• Coordinate and align stakeholders across R&D, Finance, and IT to ensure transparent communication.
• Guide the development team throughout the SDLC and support efficient delivery.
• Define and implement data strategies while promoting Data Mesh principles and concepts.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of data products that drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or a similar field.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken (mandatory).
• Proven experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in backlog management and requirements prioritization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Data Strategy and Data Products.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements and existing documentation into clear, structured, and actionable deliverables.
