Role Description
This role involves leading category strategies, optimizing product offerings, and driving significant growth in business verticals.
- Identify growth opportunities within product categories based on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
- Develop and execute strategies for product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities that maximize growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and content to drive category initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to inform category development and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to expand product offerings and improve market presence.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for market positioning.
- Lead and mentor a team by fostering a collaborative environment and driving results-oriented performance.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and run projects end to end.
- Extremely hands-on and detail-oriented.
- Excellent people skills, working with multiple stakeholders.
- Agile approach, always looking to improvise and get the best out of the team.
- Extremely good at analytics, preferably able to write own SQL Queries and be expert at Google Sheets / Excel.
- Extremely fast learner.
- Impatient for getting results and cannot sit idle.
Requirements
- Work closely with the core team to generate new course ideas and enhancements to existing products.
- Develop the project charter and work with stakeholders to develop the end-to-end GTM and Sales Plan.
- Build a new course revenue of $500K Monthly run rate from scratch over a quarter.
- Organize and manage daily and weekly reviews with stakeholders to monitor progress and identify risks.
- Proactively solve for risks and reactively address issues as they arise.
