Role Description
We are seeking a Product Program Manager to help manage the Merchant Services business and drive an ambitious transformation and growth agenda. The Product Program Manager is responsible for:
- Product planning, product development, product management, and in some cases product marketing for a portfolio of products or services organized through third party vendors and service providers.
- Defining the overall business strategy, including production expectations, channel performance, forecasting, profitability outcomes, and goals for a portfolio of products.
- Coordinating between internal and external teams to manage the overall health of the portfolio of products and vendors.
- Consulting with senior business leaders and directing allocated resources to plan, develop, implement and measure product and sales initiatives to increase overall product portfolio performance across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Designing, modifying, and developing new product portfolios and services that meet client needs.
- Monitoring and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly performance trends to managerial teams and executives.
- Understanding market conditions and the regulatory landscape, making recommendations for change as appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance and legality of all product portfolio offerings and effectiveness of distribution and delivery.
- Scanning the competitive landscape and forecasting industry trends.
- Accountable for forecasting accuracy, performance measurement, and overall client experience.
- Building relationships with vendors and negotiating vendor contracts.
- Collaborating with Marketing Consultants to manage marketing campaigns and reporting results.
- Leading business initiatives following a project plan and being responsible for outcomes.
- Consulting with business leaders to obtain buy-in and input on recommended innovations and product portfolio enhancements.
- Working with partners in procurement, technology, and product to design solutions.
- Managing business case development, contracting, due diligence, requirements, and workstream creation.
- Partnering closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure initiatives align with Key’s moderate Risk profile.
- Directly managing initiatives across payment products or introducing new capabilities through the product development lifecycle.
- Defining requirements for high priority opportunity/gaps.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience (required)
Experience Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in design, technology industry, technology product management or payments operations.
- Strong understanding of technology products, channels, and segment needs.
- Strong Business management presentation and PowerPoint skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity at scale and build stakeholder alignment over long-term projects.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept to rollout in cooperation with various business units and third-party partners.
Preferred Requirements
- Core Treasury product management or Operations experience.
- Experience in banking or financial technology payment solutions.
- 3+ years' experience in product development or design.
Tactical Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
- Knowledge of PC (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with product design/management tools (e.g. Jira, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.
- Strategic thinker that aligns the benefits of the product with the needs of clients and shareholders while achieving profitability.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $94,000 to $150,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
