Role Description

The Product Owner is responsible for executing automotive product strategy across markets based on the roadmap. Working closely with Product Management and cross‑functional teams, this role ensures customer feedback, research inputs, and business priorities are reflected in the product backlog. Success in this role requires strong execution discipline, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to quality delivery.

This Product Owner drives meaningful impact by translating automotive product strategy into high‑quality, prioritized requirements that enable consistent, predictable delivery across Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Translate product vision, objectives, and roadmap priorities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and executable requirements for delivery across Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, research, stakeholders, and delivery teams to refine requirements and ensure alignment with product strategy.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, data insights, and delivery constraints.
  • Review completed work against defined acceptance criteria; accept or reject delivery to ensure solutions are on‑spec, on‑time, and meet customer expectations.
  • Support agile delivery through active participation in planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while managing scope, dependencies, quality, and delivery commitments.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a product role with hands‑on responsibility for backlog management, requirement definition, and agile delivery.
  • Experience supporting syndicated research delivery, survey instrumentation, and data quality processes.
  • Educational background in Product or Project Management, Market Research, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience partnering with client‑facing teams and responding to stakeholder needs in a structured, solution‑oriented manner.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in automotive or mobility industries is a plus.

Requirements

This position has a starting salary range of $60K - $70K CAD and $400 - $470 MXN per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
