Role Description
In this opportunity, we are looking for a Product Owner to work with one of our foreign clients, who is a market leader in the consultation, design, procurement, implementation, and ongoing managed services for technology services for mid to large global enterprises.
As a Product Owner, you will prioritize the product's features and functionality to obtain maximum performance to the end-user's benefit. The Product Owner will:
- Schedule and lead meetings to identify product issues
- Determine roadmaps for products
- Manage daily goals and schedules to achieve high performance and meet project deadlines
This is a 3-month project initially, with the possibility of extension.
Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:
- Serve as the key stakeholder in product-related decisions and release planning
- Analyze, map, translate technical changes to business value, and communicate to various stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and ensure that solutions meet business needs
- Evaluate stakeholder (internal and external) ideas and translate them into actionable solutions to existing customer problems
- Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
- Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve the software
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps
- Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process
- Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of work experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
- Experience in data analytics with a focus on ETL operations is preferred
- A successful track record of developing products within deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to understand data integration points and process workflows from an end-to-end perspective
- The ability to analyze, map, translate technical changes to business value, and communicate to various stakeholders
- Experience with 3rd party API integrations is preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to document information provided verbally accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to drive the execution of a vision
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, as well as Visio and SharePoint, is required
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process
- In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
- Strong problem-solving skills
