[Hiring] Product Operations Manager @OpenFX

Role Description

OpenFX is hiring its first Product Operations Manager. You will work directly with the Head of Product Operations to refine and enhance the Product Operating System across a small, dense product team building the cross-border financial infrastructure of the next decade.

This is a high-leverage seat. You will be empowered to contribute across:

• Product craft
• Launch motion
• AI-augmented workflows
• Insights program connecting the product team to the rest of the business

The work is real and the surface area is wide. We treat this role as an incubator for ambitious talent, providing visibility across product, engineering, GTM, and operations at a scaling fintech.

What success looks like

• At thirty days: Build a real read on how the team works, identify friction and leverage, establish rhythm with each PM, and ship one workflow that compresses manual tasks.
• At ninety days: Drive measurable improvement in one of the four contribution areas and establish trust with PMs and GTM.
• At twelve months: Achieve a higher standard in Product Operations, with PMs more leveraged and AI-augmented workflows as the default.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years in Product Operations, Strategy and Operations, or a hybrid senior PM role at a scaled fintech or B2B SaaS.
• Experience raising standards in a product organization.
• Hands-on with AI tools as a productivity multiplier.
• Experience with Heap or comparable product analytics platforms, plus Linear, Notion, and Customer.io.
• SQL proficiency to validate your own numbers.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work hard in a way recognized by builders and senior operators.
• Political range to operate as a peer of senior PMs and Execs.

Bonus experience

• Direct experience in cross-border payments, FX, stablecoins, or B2B fintech infrastructure.
• Comfortable in a globally distributed, asynchronous operating model.
• Prior experience as a founding Product Ops hire or as the first IC hire scaling a Product Operations function.
