Role Description
In this position, you will be responsible for the development and design of the mobile irrigation solutions product portfolio, which is a significant area for GARDENA. Your role will involve:
- Leading, managing, and further developing product groups (e.g., sprinklers, cleaning systems, or hose connectors) while ensuring their profitability
- Creating business and product generation plans for strategic future orientation
- Specifying new and innovative concepts and product solutions based on market, trend, competition, and customer analyses
- Collaborating in national and international project teams during the product development process
- Working closely with product marketing, purchasing, R&D, manufacturing, and international sales teams to ensure regional product success
- Conducting product presentations and training for sales teams and customers
Qualifications
- Completed business/technical degree, ideally with a focus on product management
- Solid, several years of professional experience in a comparable position in the technical consumer goods industry with international responsibility
- High affinity for future topics and innovative concepts
- Good technical understanding
- Fluent in English; French language skills are an advantage
Requirements
- Ability to analyze consumer insights to generate innovative product ideas for your category
- Focus on the profitability of your business area
- Bring new perspectives and be open to different viewpoints in communication with colleagues
