Role Description

We are looking for a forward-thinking Product Manager with a strong background in data products to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-driven solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales to create products that leverage data insights to drive business outcomes.

Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and articulate the product vision for data products in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to drive product innovation and ensure a competitive edge in data solutions.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that reflects both short-term wins and long-term strategic goals.
Data Product Development
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable product features.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and iterative improvement.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and security considerations are integral parts of the product design and implementation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Lead regular product review meetings and agile sprint sessions to track progress, address challenges, and incorporate feedback.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and data-driven decision-making.
Market & Customer Insights
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract actionable insights and measure the performance of data products.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to inform product enhancements and market positioning.
- Engage with customers to understand their data needs, gather feedback, and refine product offerings to ensure maximum impact.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Present product updates, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive documentation including product requirements, use cases, and user stories.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions are driven by user needs and market demands.
Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate product development processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
- Leverage data insights to drive ongoing product improvements and inform future strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in data analytics are a plus.
Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on data products or data-driven solutions. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling data products, with a strong portfolio of data-focused initiatives. Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with lean product development methodologies.
Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data privacy standards.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among diverse groups. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt quickly to changing market dynamics.

Requirements

This position can be remote and will require periodic travel to our offices and locations in the US.
