[Hiring] Product Manager - AML @Oscilar

Role Description

At Oscilar, you'll have full product ownership of our AML and financial crimes suite:

• Transaction Monitoring:
  • Rules engine and ML model layer that generates alerts.
  • Define system flags, reasons, and decision evolution.
  • Understand rules-based velocity checks vs. graph-based network detection models.
• KYC / KYB:
  • Onboarding risk workflows: identity verification, document checks, beneficial ownership, ongoing monitoring triggers, and risk re-scoring.
  • Know data sources: bureau data, device signals, open banking, registry data.
• Screening:
  • Sanctions (OFAC, UN, EU), PEPs, adverse media, and negative news.
  • Understand fuzzy matching on names and its implications.
• Case Management:
  • Workflow layer: alert routing, case assignment, escalation logic, analyst productivity tooling, QA/QC review, disposition tracking.
  • Design as a human-in-the-loop system problem.
• SAR Filing & Regulatory Reporting:
  • FinCEN SAR workflow end-to-end: narrative generation, supporting documentation, filing status, audit trail.
  • Build product that meets regulatory scrutiny.
• AML Data Strategy:
  • Data model: transaction graphs, entity resolution, behavioral baselines, consortium signals, model feature pipelines.
  • Communicate effectively with data engineers and compliance officers.

You are an AI-native PM, using AI tools throughout your workflow:

• For discovery: Synthesize call transcripts, cluster themes, scan regulatory guidance, and surface competitive product gaps.
• For building: Generate first-draft PRDs, stress-test specs, write user stories, prototype UI flows.
• For design: Explore multiple UX directions quickly.
• For analysis: Query product and operational data, interpret model outputs.

Qualifications

• Full-stack AML product depth: shipped product across at least two of the five areas.
• AML strategy knowledge: understand design and calibration of AML programs.
• Technical and data fluency: engineers trust your specs, can read data schemas, write queries.
• Regulatory literacy: understand BSA, FinCEN, OFAC, FATF, and what examiners look for.
• Bias toward speed: use AI tools to move faster and learn earlier.

• Knowledge of AML program design and calibration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and compliance officers.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and audit trails.
• Proven ability to use AI tools for efficiency.
