Role Description

We are on the lookout for a strategic, hands-on Product Manager – Growth & Innovation to champion the expansion and continuous innovation of our leading account-switching products in European markets.

• Product Vision & Roadmap Ownership: Drive complete lifecycle responsibility for the strategic direction, product vision, and operational roadmap of our flagship account migration solutions. Drive both continuous feature optimizations and brand-new product streams.
• European Market Growth & Opportunity Discovery: Proactively explore, validate, and execute on novel use cases and market opportunities throughout Europe. Guide fresh ideas from early-stage conceptualization through validation tests to broad commercial deployment.
• Data-Driven Backlog Prioritization: Structure and order the product backlog with high discipline, relying on deep transaction analytics and customer research to secure maximum growth impact.
• Strategic Leadership & Sparring Partner: Act as a strategic partner to our Managing Director of Banking, helping to shape overall product direction, align revenue ambitions, and safeguard agile, rapid execution paths.
• Requirement Engineering & Execution: Transform detailed inputs from banking institutions, financial partners, and global users into clean, structured, and developer-ready epics and user stories.
• KPI Tracking & Continuous Iteration: Set concrete success metrics for all feature updates and platform releases. Continually measure product behavior against hard benchmarks to support rapid iteration loops.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Growth Management—preferably within a SaaS, API, FinTech, or Banking space.
• Data-Driven & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Sound commercial instincts paired with a clear history of making choices supported by concrete analytics, hard metrics, and genuine user research rather than raw assumptions.
• Language Skills: High proficiency / C1 level in German and English (both written and oral) is mandatory for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders across DACH and global regions.
• Tool Proficiency: Practical, daily command of agile management applications such as Jira, alongside data tools like MS Excel.
• Communication & Execution: Superior communication skills with the capability to clearly articulate complicated technical subjects to developers, corporate partners, and executive managers.
• Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel approximately quarterly for team-building retreats in Kassel, Germany, alongside occasional pre-scheduled client visits.

Requirements

• Nice-to-Haves: Track record of introducing or scaling API-first or SaaS financial products across European borders.
• Working knowledge of additional European languages outside of German and English.
