Role Description
As a Product Manager, you will co-lead one of our cross-functional development teams, responsible for your product and implementation of the overall product vision and strategy.
- Support the discovery of our capability in a newly established team.
- Define our product and customer experience, working alongside our Collaboration Client.
- Deliver our Property Wealth capability in collaboration with colleagues across Wealth Wizards.
- Balance refining and optimising your product with developing future foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Know your customer and their problems and identify opportunities to improve their planning experience.
- Shape the product strategy and roadmap for the product/s within your boundary.
- Derive key insights and patterns from customer testing to provide insightful recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to ensure we build the right thing.
- Analyse and break problems down to arrive at the minimum viable product.
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog to help deliver the overall product vision.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, internally and externally.
- Build rapport with key stakeholders to align around priorities and influence.
- Work with data to understand performance and turn data into insights.
- Be self-aware and understand how your interactions impact others.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience as a Product Manager/Owner.
- A background working with digital products in financial services.
- Passion for the customer.
- Ability to innovate or lead activities that drive innovation.
- A collaborative approach to your work.
- Passion for quality - exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly independent and pragmatic - always makes conscious decisions.
- Understanding and evangelising about the value proposition and the needs of target customers.
- Knowledge of user experience design techniques and up-to-date with modern product management best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in a financial service context is desirable.
- Previous experience within an Advice / Guidance, Lending or Equity Release context is a plus.
