Role Description

At Alan, everyone is first and foremost an individual contributor. Product Managers at Alan are responsible for going deep on user needs, defining a product strategy, and turning it into a high impact product roadmap.

  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and ops to define the right product and implement it.
  • Partner and align with all parts of the business: Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Data.

About the Growth area:

  • Growth owns everything that happens before someone becomes a member: how prospects find Alan, how they decide we're right for them, and how they start.
  • It runs across two crews:
    • Conversion: the conversion flows and referral surfaces that turn prospects into members.
    • Growth Infrastructure: the website, marketing measurement, and marketing ops that make growth marketing efficient.

You will own the product across both crews, setting the overarching product vision, managing the PMs, pushing experimentation velocity, and leading Alan's move to make Growth Product AI-native.

More specifically, this means:

  • Lead Alan's AI ambition in Growth:
    • Set the agenda and ship against it, including conversational AI that guides prospects through our sales flows.
    • Develop AI-native acquisition surfaces.
    • Integrate Alan inside LLM ecosystems.
  • Build an experimentation engine:
    • Improve our experimentation culture and velocity.
  • Give the area a coherent vision:
    • Align the Conversion and Growth Infrastructure roadmaps.
    • Concentrate the team's bets where the leverage is.
  • Build the team:
    • Manage the PMs in the area and contribute to people topics for all product communities.
    • Focus on hiring, coaching, and running a team that owns its outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product related experience.
  • Currently at Lead or Group PM level, or as a Founder.
  • Experience managing product managers directly.
  • Experience in hiring, coaching, and providing hard feedback.
  • Shipped real growth product: conversion, activation, or referral.
  • Knowledge of funnel math and ability to distinguish genuine wins from vanity metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with event tracking, funnel analysis, and growth instrumentation.
  • Close familiarity with AI products and systems.
  • Ability to influence without authority across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
  • Regularly engage with members and prospects, using insights to inform decisions.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare and Alan's mission.
  • Fluency in French & English required.
