[Hiring] Principal Business Technology Product Manager @Samsara

Role Description

Samsara’s Go-To-Market Systems (GTMS) team builds the internal products that power how Samsara sells — the quoting, approvals, and opportunity workflows that thousands of sellers rely on every day. As a Senior Business Technology Product Manager on our Sales Execution pod, you’ll own the seller experience end to end:

• Finding the highest-friction moments in the deal cycle.
• Shipping solutions that make our sellers faster, more accurate, and more confident.

This is a builder’s product role. You won’t just write requirements and hand them off; you’ll:

• Prototype, build, and iterate directly, using modern AI tools to raise your own leverage.
• Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Engineering to translate complex go-to-market problems into scalable, measurable solutions across Salesforce and our CPQ/quote-to-cash stack.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US and Canada except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management capacity (or equivalent experience building and owning enterprise software or internal tools).
• Experience with go-to-market or revenue systems — Salesforce (CRM), CPQ/quoting, or adjacent sales/revenue-operations tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into clear requirements and measurable product outcomes.
• Hands-on comfort building with modern AI tools.
• Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Finance, and Engineering.

Requirements

• The ability to build real artifacts directly — clickable prototypes, SQL-backed dashboards, or working POCs.
• Experience building or operating AI agents/assistants in production.
• Deep Salesforce / CPQ domain expertise (quote-to-cash, approvals, opportunity management).
• Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Workato) and hands-on data skills (SQL).
• A track record of driving real adoption of internal tools, not just launching them.
