Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner who will play a critical role in elevating our product organisation. This role goes beyond traditional backlog ownership — you will refine product processes, mentor and uplift Product Owners, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across multiple teams or tribes. You will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring product teams are aligned, empowered, and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Own and drive delivery across multiple teams or product areas.
  • Ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
  • Maintain clarity on product priorities, scope, and release planning across teams.
• Process Improvement & Product Excellence
  • Evaluate and refine existing product processes, frameworks, and workflows.
  • Introduce best practices in backlog management, prioritisation, discovery, and delivery.
  • Drive consistency in how Product Owners operate across teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements.
• Coaching & Mentorship
  • Act as a mentor and coach to Product Owners, helping them grow in capability and confidence.
  • Provide guidance on backlog structuring, stakeholder communication, and product thinking.
  • Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions to elevate PO performance.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of product talent.
• Cross-Team & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Coordinate across multiple teams or tribes to manage dependencies and alignment.
  • Work with leadership to translate product strategy into actionable roadmaps.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap planning.
  • Ensure customer needs and business outcomes are consistently prioritised.
  • Support data-driven decision-making and outcome-focused delivery.
  • Advocate for customer-centric thinking across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or similar roles.
• Proven experience working with multiple teams or in a scaled Agile environment.
• Strong experience mentoring or leading other Product Owners.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and product delivery practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
