Role Description

The Manager, Strategic Business Analysis plays a key role in providing research and analysis leadership to inform strategy and decision making at a managerial level. This role will manage a team of BAs/BSAs, lead analysis on key initiatives and act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to ensure project success.

The Manager will work closely with their leaders within the Transformation & OCM- Strategic Analysis team to implement the group’s vision for developing a center of excellence for the team and implementing industry best practices for the discipline of Business and Systems Analysis.

What You'll Do

• Manage a team of BAs and BSAs leading analysis for various business process, product and transformation programs.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from business, technology and external partners to identify business needs, and ensure appropriate analysis support is provided to meet business and system goals for various product and process initiatives.
• Provide business analysis expertise and act as a Lead Analyst to analyze and document business needs on key initiatives.
• Lead and mentor team in utilizing best practices in business analysis in efforts related to process improvement, automation, data and product initiatives.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of required supporting documentation following best practices (e.g. API, process maps, business rules, user stories, data validation etc.).
• Act as a strategic partner and liaison between the business, OCM, PMO, Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Set and manage team goals and objectives for day-to-day operations and projects.
• Receive analysis support requests, assess project needs and work with management to plan and assign analysis support.
• Participate in hiring process, write and conduct performance reviews, manage disciplinary actions, and other HR activities for the team as required.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentor the team to support their knowledge development within Business Analysis and Business Systems Analysis.
• Guide the team in identifying business problems, completing gap analysis, researching alternatives, identifying business and system requirements, driving solutions, testing to confirm, gaining consensus, and implementing solutions for required applications.
• Participate in required stakeholder and partner meetings and provide subject matter expertise from a business analysis perspective.
• Provide inputs to leadership and necessary reports and presentations to help inform roadmaps, budgets, resource planning and strategy.
• Lead the creation of a Center of Excellence for the Business Analysis Practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications: CBAP or IIBA Certifications, PBA, Agile certifications a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead BA or Business Analysis Manager with supervisory duties.
• Strong people leadership capabilities with an ability to influence and inspire change.
• Strong Business Analysis expertise with experience and knowledge in creating and maintaining analysis documentation, including but not limited to: process mapping, requirements elicitation, API analysis, writing test cases, capturing business rules, data analysis etc.
• Experience in leading analysis for digital transformation programs within complex agile environments.
• Experience in collaborating with business, product and engineering teams to identify and translate business requirements into systems definitions and solutions.
• Strong and confident communicator with exceptional abilities in presenting, influencing and collaborating with internal and external partners at management level for success.
• Strong experience in Business Analysis and Business Systems Analysis methodologies, best practices and industry standards.
• Standard Microsoft office skillset.
• Excellent organization and Program/project management skills.
• Knowledge of Title insurance & settlement services operations is a plus.

Requirements

• Pay Range: $112,400.00 - $149,800.00 Annually.
• This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
